Fireworks 30/10/15
So yet again the owners of The Stagecoach Inn, Newport, Berkeley Gloucestershire put on an amazing evening of Fireworks profesionally set off to carefully selected music and what a spectacular display it was! Myself and my family always go to this display as it is our local pub but mainly because it is an amazing night!
In the cost of our tickets we got amazing fireworks, sweets, drinks and food ( options this year were chilli, beef stew, sausage rolls, meat and potato pies and sausage and beans for the kids.) Plus instead of dangerous sparklers they gave all the kids glowsticks and my goodness they went down a treat!
Unfortunately though, it looks like this years event may well have been the last due to the decline in people supporting it and supporting the monthly fun quiz night that pays for this to happen. Its a shame to be losing something so vital to our community and quite frankly a great night that doesnt cost the earth ( especially when you have kids!).

The Stagecoach Inn is a lovely, rustic family pub that create simple food with fresh ingredients that they grow onsite.
Famous for Their Original and Infamous Dragon Pie, They have an extensive menu that includes everything from a simple snack to a 20 oz. Steak, all freshly prepared and cooked on the premises.
They also serve a great range of craft beers and always trying a new one to keep it exciting.
Owners David and Lynn Heenan along with their daughter Kate have made The Stagecoach Inn a hub for the community, a place to meet with friends and family and most of all to have a great night out.
